C Salt Gourmet Market sells breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week in Cape Elizabeth. Their sweet treats are a must.
The Farm Stand in South Portland’s Knightville neighborhood makes the most of Maine-sourced ingredients.
Figgy’s Takeout & Catering is famous for their skillet fried chicken and biscuits, but there’s much more to their menu.
Leavitt & Sons is a full service deli with locations in Portland and Falmouth, and they also offer fully cooked meals that you can reheat at home. Three words: chicken pot pie.
On the Vine Marketplace: possibly the best selection of prepared foods in the greater Portland area! Hot, cold, and frozen, plus a fantastic selection of baked goods. Worth the drive to Scarborough.
Pat’s Meat Market in Portland’s Deering Center has deli sandwiches as well as take-home meals from Miyake, Top Set, and their own in-house creations.
Rosemont Market sells “good food from people we know” at mulitple locations in and around Portland. This includes a small selection of prepared meals from their own kitchen plus sushi rolls from Pai Men Miyake. And the BREADS! Their sesame sourdough is my particular favorite.
Terra Cotta Pasta Company makes a variety of Italian specialties and sides, including gluten free options, at their store near the South Portland/Cape Elizabeth line.
Whole Foods has a huge prepared foods selection, both hot and cold.

Feed Me Fit 207 offers a “simple health meal prep for the active life” at 6 different pickup locations in Portland.
Hunger is the Best Spice is the brainchild of chef Eva, who loves feeding families.
Liz’s Kitchen produces a seasonal, rotating menu of dairy-free meals prepared by a professional chef and delivered to your door on Tuesdays.
Topset Meals began as a sideline for personal training clients and has grown into a weekly menu of nutrient-dense meals for pickup in South Portland, Biddeford, and Westbrook. Sometimes it’s possible to find them at Pat’s in Deering Center, too.
